Yaver Rzayev was born on November 1, 1956 in Baku. In 1975-1980 he studied at ASI named after M.Aliyev, in 1985-1990 he studied at Moscow State Conservatory. He is director of several documentary and feature films at the Azerbaijanfilm studio. His first acquaintance with the film was as a director assistant, but in 1981, he was subsequently pursued his career as a screenwriter and succeeded. In 2008 he was awarded the Honorary Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in 2015 he was awarded the Golden Pearce in the nomination "The Best Original Screenplay" for the film "Divine Creature".
