Shafiga Mamedova is the Azerbaijani actress of theater and cinema, the honored actress of the Azerbaijani SSR (1974), the honored actress of the Azerbaijani SSR (1982). In 1968, being a fifth-year student, it was invited in the Azerbaijani state drama theater of Azizbekov. Since 1980 teaches at the Azerbaijani state university of culture and art (the former theatrical institute). Has an academic status of professor.
