Biography
Kamil Rustambekov was born in 1924 in Baku. In 1953, graduated from Azerbaijani state theater institute. In 1956 Baku came to Baku television, Kamil Rustambekov worked with chief editor and one of the first television broadcasters. Later on, he started working as a director and as a member of the Interactive TV Transmitter. In the 1960s, for the first time in history of national television, he made ten full - fledged and handsome film with Sameda Vurgun 's "Aygun" stigmatization. In 1966, Kamil Rustambekov was invited to Azerfilm studio named after J. Jabbarly, where he work on the films "Battle in the Mountains", "The Last Pass", "The Dervish Conquers Paris" (together with Shamil Mahmudbekov). The film "Last Pass" was awarded at the All-Union Film Festival in Tbilisi in 1972, actors such as Adil Iskandarov, Karbalai Ismail and Khasan Mammadov were awarded by Abbaskul Bey for the performance of the best male roles. He died in 1991.
