Sanem Çelik was born on May 18, 1975 in Istanbul, Turkey. She joined the television series Black Angel in 2004. She won The Best Actress of The Year by The Entertainment Journalists' Guild for the show. She has over 150,000 followers on her sanemcelikhome Instagram account. Stage actress who won over a dozen acting awards between 1996 and 2005. She was on the jury for the 3rd International Crime and Punishment Film Festival's Golden Scale Feature Film section in 2013. She and Ece Uslu both appeared in The Black Angel. She joined Istanbul University State Conservatory's Ballet Department in 1983. Her nephew is Yunus Luemre.
