Tofig Asgar oglu Mammadov – is Azerbaijani film director. Mammadov was born February 15, 1941 in Azerbaijan. He is better known with his short documentary films, Ulu yurd (1990), Boz qurdun harayı (1991), Xəzər köməyə çağırır (1991), Şirvan şikəstəsi (1991), Şəhidlər və qazilər (1991), Qarabağ düyünü (1993), Parlament (1996), Monoloq (2007). He is the head of “Salname” studio specialising in production of documentary films and series. He acquired the name of “Honored Cultural Worker of Azerbaijan Republic” in 2000. He also has title of “Honored arts worker”.
