Biography

Roger Roberts Avary (born August 23, 1965) is a Canadian-American film and television director, screenwriter, and producer. He collaborated with Quentin Tarantino on Pulp Fiction, for which they won Best Original Screenplay at the 67th Academy Awards. Avary directed The Worm Turns (1983), Roger Avary's Day Off (1987), Killing Zoe (1994), Mr. Stitch (1996), The Rules of Attraction (2002), Glitterati (2004), La voix humaine (2017), Lucky Day (2018) and wrote the screenplays for The Rules of Attraction (2002), Glitterati (2004), Silent Hill (2006), Beowulf (2007), True Romance (1993), Pulp Fiction (1994), Killing Zoe (1994).
